Tony didn't "take out" anyone You must be a Stewart fan. I agree about the Gordon wreck, but not the others. Nascar needs a bad boy and Stewart is their boy. Nascar will do nothing to their big names, especially Jr., Stewart, and Gordon. Big business plays big in nascar. Remember 2 years ago when Spencer and Busch got tangled. Spencer got suspended for 2 races. When he came back, Busch went after Spencer. Busch got fined but did not get any race suspensions. Why? Because the next race was the Sharpie race and Busch was sponsored by Sharpie.

NASCAR turns a blind eye all the time. An example was two years ago when Jimmy Spencer and Kurt Busch got into it on the track. NASCAR suspended Spencer for the next race but did nothing to Busch. Reason? Busch was driving for Sharpie and the next race was the Sharpie 400.

I am damned near 60 years old and I am finding the new "X" sports very refreshing. The athleticism that these youngsters exert is amazing, no matter what the sport. Maybe Gumble ought to look at the definition of sport: "Physical activity that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often engaged in competitively". I see nothing in there about race. Some of his exposes' are very eye opening when it comes to race, however I think a lot of times he goes out of his way to make things about race that aren't really there. I don't see a bunch of rednecks out there bitching because the majority of skiers are a bunch of rich white kids from up north. Get over it Gumble.

Why skating is not a sport
definition of sport: Physical activity that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often engaged in competitively. I would almost bet that skaters are in better physical shape than nascar drivers. OOPS, my bad. I probably stepped on a few toes there.
