I've been knowing all season long this was coming from Plummer. I'm just pissed I woke up at 4am to watch him collapse at the worst possible time. So... what QB will be available with the 30th pick in the draft?

Actually, I can access that link. I could also access Time Asia's 6 page excerpt from his biography that was just fascinating... outlining the life his parents went through during the Cultural Revolution.

Any chance of this stopping the damn trend on ESPN.com for all sports? "Boston, Boston, New York, New York, New York, Boston, New York, Boston, Boston, New York..." Nope...

Major League Baseball is the only organization that does nearly as much as the NFL to prevent its fans from enjoying the game. Hell, the NFL doesn't even allow ESPN.com to show highlights on ESPNmotion. Only interviews... because we all give a damn which athlete is uttering which cliche after the game. If you are out of your favorite team's market, forget it. No radio. No nothin'. Not without shelling out cash. Take for example how MLB has decided that only they have the right to broadcast games online. Nevermind that the local stations (like WBAL in Baltimore) are providing the on-air talent, the equipment, etc... And this is just the next step. MLB is run by idiots if they think this is going to help their cause in any sense of the world help. Fantasy baseball gets a lot of casual fans and one-club fans to watch multiple games (thereby driving up ratings and advertising revenues) that otherwise wouldn't. Wow, I am serious astounded at the idiocy that passes for leadership in sports businesses.

I think a really nice medal could be done with the Great Wall (cliche value) and the traditional Chinese stamp symbol that adorns virtually everything... However, as an American living in China, I can assure you that if you're not mainland Chinese, don't bother submitting a design. There's probably an industrial size trashbin behind Beijing's Olympic HQ for all "wai guo ren" (foreigner) entries.

A little hot stovery for a cold winter's day (offer not good in tropical climes)
Why is nobody more pissed about the Deviled Eggs still playing in an old hockey arena in Tampa? And I sincerely hope that more cities start making the teams pay for their own damn stadiums. Finally, FAs making a team worse? Look no farther than Derrick Bell in Pittsburgh.
