Quaybon, that is because they play each other out of conference up until Miami joined the ACC. Last year Florida played 8 teams in the top 25 6 of those games were top 10 opponents. How more more tough games do they have to play. Look at the results from those schedules. This often leaves the Sec out of the big game. For example Texas plays oklahoma, Nebraska as major threats. The other teams are second tier. You cannot mention Baylor, mizz, T.T., ok st., kansas, and k state. As Auburn, Tenn., Bama, LSU, and Georgia. I back this up by saying the Sec had 5 teams with 8 wins or more. Where the big 12 had 2. Even Colorado, the winner of the North was pathetic. In know way did they deserve a shot to be playing in the BCS, albeit the big 12 championship winner. Losing 112-20 in the two games against Texas. Texas totally benfited from their cream puff schedule to get to the big game, just as Oklahoma had in the past. It was about time Texas went and played a team like Ohio state. I believe that was a great rivalry born in college football, non-conference obviously. If they had lost that game to Ohio state, there is no way they get to the "game" PSU would have. There only loss was to Michigan on the road, what by one?

I have always agreed that the SEC and the Big 10 are neck and neck. These two conferences are the cream of the crop. The reason I give the edge to the SEC is because they play a championship game after that brutal schedule often presenting a rematch. Which creates are greater possibility of missing a BCS game with that loss. For Example LSU and Auburn were totally robbed. To play those schedules and not be in the BCS Champ game is a travesty. Would the NCAA please, please have a playoff!!!!

What did I say so wrong. This team is all wrong. There are some great palyers and yet every year the same results. I cannot take it anymore! Trade Burrell Abreu Lieberthal. In fact pay for them to leave. Build around utley, hamels, howard, and rowand. Everyone else is up for grabs. And, Our management told Jim Leyland he wasn't fit for the job???? Detroit is laughing in our face!!

Love it GoBirds! That is the whole thing here in Philly. T.O. took our birds from us last year. I am really excited about all the positive reports this year. I just want to see them have fun again. And I believe Donovan will make that happen. Fly Eagles Fly on the road to victory........E.A.G.L.E.S....Eagles.

You know... I can't really remember... Does anyone remember how the Eagles did the last time they had good ol' team cancer playing with them, I can't really recall how far they made it... Yes we did get as far as you recall, but do you recall how many of those playoff wins T.O. contributed in? 0 Like I said, Dallas needs to make the playoffs first. How many people and teams does T.O. have to ruin for people to get it? The boy is great. I was all excited when he came here as well. I have a jersey I am waiting to burn in Oct. But he is a cancer. The very definition of it. Wow, looking back in hindsight he won us 17 REGULAR SEASON games. Big whoop. Look at the effect of those wins. It is all about T.O. I can't wait to get a bowl of popcorn and sit back and watch him go at it with Parcells. A philly fan is going to have fun again this year. That is why we will be back!

The Eagles will be back this year. Now I am not saying superbowl, but they will have a strong playoff run. Donovan is out to set the world on fire. They have revamped both lines(offense and defense). As far as Dallas goes. They're o-line weakened in the off season. With a statue standing back there, watch how productive T.O. is. What everyone forgets is T.O. has won one playoff game in his career. Donovan being hurt ALL year last season was the reason for the drop off. Plus, T.O. has to make it out of Philly alive in Oct. They are gonna have a target painted on him like no other, and T.O. has never produced against Philly. Dallas has to make the playoffs first.something they did not do last year.

I personally have been a huge Lemieux fan my whole life. I have seen him play so many games it is hard to think of all the great moments and plays I have witnessed him accomplish. What I would like to say is, to me, mario is the epitomy of a superstar athlete. More athletes should mock him in regards to star status. He has been my idol in sports, and my absolute favorite player of all time, in all sports. All the kids out there should take lessons from this guy. He never complained about losing. That team was pathetic when he arrived. He carried an entire franchise on his back, which the burden of all of that weight, was the beginning of his decline. I really feel bad for him in regards to all of the adversity the guy has faced in his career. I will argue with anyone as to who is the greatest of all time. Here is a guy who leaves and misses 21 games due to Hodgkins disease and comes back two nights later against the Rangers and has 6 points. The first game back against the Flyers he had his last chemo treatment hours before the game. Then goes on to still win the scoring title. Gives up millions that is owed to him to save the franchise he has played his whole career for. The only franchise he ever played for. Name one other superstar that has done that. No all athletes care about is getting paid, not doing what is right. He literally played paralyzed with back pain for the last 6 years of his career. I could go on and on. I am sad for one reason. He is one of a handful of athletes All-Time, that I felt deserved to go out on top. He is and forever will be in my mind the Greatest of all time. Thank You Super Mario!!! The game of hockey has truely lost a major asset to their sport. Not only as a player, but as an ambassador, leader, owner, and idol!!

I totally disagree with you guys. Unless you live in the area, or you have watched at least 6 of their games you should hold the comments. I have been a Pittsburgh fan for over 20 years and follow them all year long. This team is in shambles. I don't care about age. There is no reason what so ever that their power play should be ranked this low. Not with all the scorers they have. I knew at the start of the season they would have issues with their defense. That I can handle, but not their scoring. He has lost the locker room and the confidence of the players. The coaching move they made was a good one, it just should have been slightly different. I mean not gutting the staff. Obviously management felt that they needed a major shake up. Edzo is a good guy, but I questioned alot of his moves and saw this coming. Mentioning the goaltending- Have you seen Fleury's last 5 starts? He has played great. Once again no support from offense. This guy Therrien-the new coach- has done a phenomenal job at Scranton/WB. Why not promote from within? This firing was very justified!

Could Reggie be losing the heisman?
I agree. Take his trophy and give it to Vince Young. Young was a one man team and I believe deserved the Heisman anyway. Doesn't anyone find it ironic ,that whenever a program becomes dominant, they are rocked constantly with scandilous acts. Miami, Free Shoes University (FSU), University Show the Cash(USC). I don't know who does a better job of turning their head and playing DUMB! Pete Carroll or Bobby Bowden?
