max mosley, who actually owned a formula one team at one time (remember March formula 1) should have known better than to make some of the rule changes - the one set of tires per race was bound to make a real difference in performance as it did - it being changed back is correct, the races should be determined by engines, suspensions and drivers. the absolute most asinine rule change is the one restricting automatic transmissions - there are very few engine failures because you can't miss a shift and overrev the engine - this rule change will be revoked next year when about half the field doesn't finish races because of blown engines - watch and see
