T.O. Reportedly Attempted Suicide

Who really gives a crap about this primadonna? I am so sick and tired of hearing about his antics on a daily basis. ESPN, SI, and the media in general give us a daily dose of TO and who really cares? We all know Jerry Jones brought him to Dallas to generate media attention for the woeful Cowboys. It's a shame that Parcells is the one designated to deal with it. When he broke his finger, you'd think he was on his death bed. It happened the same week David Pollack broke his neck during the Bengals-Browns game and that barely got a whisper on the news. Does anyone outside of TO's posse really care what he says or does? I think there are more deserving athletes of this media attention than him.

Bengals' Thurman suspended for season

As a long suffering Bengals fan, I was elated to see them draft Thurman because I thought Lewis could turn him around. Winning and success can turn a thug around sometimes..... It angers me to see them throw all this away for some booze and drugs (Henry). I agree the NFL should do more to prevent this before it gets worse. Maybe a permanent ban after 3 strikes......

#1 vs #2 Update.

It's a long season and there are plenty of Big 10 foes that could bring a loss to the Buckeyes. In the Cooper era, I remember an undefeated Buckeye team being beaten by a much less talented Michigan State team. It can happen any weekend therefore I think fans are quietly celebrating each week.

Little League controversy

I have coached little league baseball (7yr olds up to 13 yr olds) and in a championship game I do not see anything wrong with walking the team's best hitter. I've never done it myself, but have considered it. I agree with the coach...if the next batter was not a cancer survivor no one would care. This is the game of baseball. Get over it and get used to it because sports teaches us life lessons all the time and this is just an example. If this was basketball, would anyone care if he had double-teamed the other team's best player? I doubt it.
