Ask SpoFi: In NASCAR why do some of the cars swerve back and forth when following the pace car after the caution flag has been waved? Is there a benefit or is it just something they do to amuse themselves?

: Seeing as the NBA playoffs are starting up, the NHL playoffs are well underway and baseball season is only a little ways in it's a good time for some gametime chat. Come to the SpoFi campfire anytime. Marshmallows may be provided.

Link Dump!: Holden's post led me to do a little searching on YouTube, during which I found the interesting video above.

Read the Guidelines : Please. Is the linking to a meager Yahoo! article just to foster a discussion tolerable?

Butch Davis: Matt Hayes recently wrote a column about Butch Davis. I figured it wasn't FPP worthy, but deserved to be placed somewhere due to Davis' apparent similarites to a cross between Chuck Norris and Greg Maddux.

Profiles:: Has anyone else noticed the recent links and comments feature in the profiles? I'm not sure how new it is, but it's pretty cool so I'd just like to give a thank you to whoever set that up.

MLB Second Half: Earlier this year SpoFites made their 2006 MLB Predictions. Some have been accurate while others not so much. Now, a couple months later, baseball moves into the second half. Scott Miller has already made his second half predictions and now you can as well.

Sign In Box: I've been going on SportsFilter more at school of late and have noticed that if you are not signed in the profile box at the upper left of the screen grows a lot bigger, obscuring both thread links and the first few posts in a thread. For those of us who sometimes go on to SportsFilter but don't want to or are unable to log on (no thanks to the school web filters), it can be very inconvienent. Is there any reason for this or is it just a bug?
