This was posted in another FF forum by my fiance but thought it was so funny I had to share: Dear Donovan*, I know we haven't been together very long, but I'm having a lot of doubts about where our relationship is going. I like you, I guess, but you really don't seem to understand that I have needs and wants, and I need and want you to be the guy to fufill them for me. Maybe we didn't talk about what we expected from each other, and I guess I'm to blame for that. I try really hard not to compare you to my ex-boyfriend Brett*, but you just don't seem to measure up to him. Also, I've been seeing this guy Jeff* on the side. He pleases me in ways that you just can't or won't, and I just thought I should be honest with you about that. I mean, I thought he wouldn't be anywhere near as good as you, and though he can disappoint me, it's not like I didn't know he wasn't full of faults. But you, Donvan, were supposed to rock my world, and you don't. And I've decided that maybe we would be better off seeing other people. There's this hot guy named Jake* that I spent an amazing weekend with and I think there's a lot of potential there with him. Let's just be friends for now and see how it goes, okay? Best All-Time Baseball Broadcaster?
Tahoumoj, not only is Marty still doing the games but his broadcasting partner is his son Thom. Something special about hearing a father & son, both great announcers, doing a game. And yes, Thom does call Marty 'dad' on air.
