I often get to sportsfilter and I'm not logged in. (My cookies are session-only.) Weird stuff happens. For instance, there are times that I click to read the comments on a FPP or locker room post. When I'm on the comments page, none of the links in the actual story are clickable, and the text isn't even highlightable (is that a word?). However, links in comments are clickable and all other text is highlightable. Oh, and one I've logged in, I can't log out. But I think everyone knows about that feature.

At first, yeah. I've gotten used to it, though.

I've gotten the same problem that SF wrote about. It's happened to me many times, on different machines.

I get these emails a lot for my website. I just send them on to the spam bin.

I'm bummed I missed out on the first swap. I want to get in on this one.

(For what it's worth, I had never noticed the speech balloon until it was mentioned here.) I agree with wc2k2.

smithers- that's because the link is missing the directory "lockerroom" between sportsfilter.com and comments.cfm. so whoever fixes things should add that to the url and it'd work again.

ah, i was wondering where that link on the front page was supposed to go. maybe someone should fix it.

i have nothing to contribute, but linking to sites with dumb linking policies is still fun!

ESPN Page 2 did a feature a while back called "Sports Skills Difficulty Rankings" which isn't exactly what you're asking, but it sort of is, since they rank the sports based on things like endurance, strength, speed, power, agility, flexibility, and durability..

I didn't see the highlights - they have a 7'-5" guy shooting threes? Manute Bol! Oh wait, he is 7-7.

Hrm. I don't particularly care what the founders do or think, per se, but I think if your goal is for sportsfilter to be more like sports radio I need to find somewhere else to talk about sports. The thing I like about this site is that it is typically free of the racist, sexist, idiotic assholes who are the bread and butter of sports radio. If you want to find and attract more of those kinds of people and start those kinds of discussions... well, that sucks :/ I completely agree with this.. so many message boards are filled with complete idiots that it's hard to get anything out of them. I've found this site to be quite different, and I'm pretty impressed. (Side note: I had no idea that rcade is one of this site's founders. Perhaps there are others? :) I guess I should pay more attention..)

If you haven't already, and you like soccer, you should see this.
A generic username/password that should work for all Premium TV sites is latest/latest. Good to know. Thanks. I learned something today!
