Remember the last time the Clips were 11 games over .500?

I love Elton, and he is having an incredible season, but it's more than just him, because he has been solid for years. It's partly Cassell, and a lot is that Dunleavy somehow has them playing excellent team defense. 2nd in the league is OPP FG%. They are stifling teams with Sam Cassell and Cuttino Mobley in the back court who are both known for not being super defensively inclined.

15 year Clipper fan here.... somebody pinch me. it doesn't even feel like they are gonna collapse. thank you sam aka ALIEN. it's really amazing they are playing this well without maggette. kaman is really coming into his own, and role players such as quinton ross, james singleton, and daniel ewing are really making a difference night in and out.

Bradley accuses Jeff Kent of Racism

Jeff Kent is worse for baseball than Milton Bradley. Kent is clearly old guard, and has been known as a prickly jerk. He lied about an injury (said he hurt himself while washing his truck). I can sooo see him being a racist.

Twins to have a weekend celebration of the 1965 World Series Team

Amazing world series. Bob Allison was a great man. Very good ball player as well.

Three and done.

Serena was sick. She looked really ill and they kept saying she shouldn't have been playing. I don't think this is the end of her.

Round up the usual suspects!

Fever Pitch!?!?!? There is no way Nick Hornby wrote the greatest sports book of all time. He's not a bad writer, but there is no way. I would've like to seen some more Feinstein on there and David Maraniss' Vince Lombardi book.
