Congrats to George Mason, they should have been playing the Washington Huskies but the refs had other plans..............GO George Mason.

Great signing but what's going on with the "O" line, it's hard to run the ball, make kicks, and complete passes if you're lying on your ass, our biggest need is on the "O" line, I hope they have a plan. GO COWBOYS

It all starts up front, if you follow the Cowboys all you have to do is go back from the play where "O" lineman, Adams was lost for the year, from that moment on Bledsoe went from the top rated passer in the NFC to maybe somewhere in the Mid. of the pack But with a healthy "O" line and TO, Dallas can become one of the best Offenses in the NFC, mind you if J. Jones shows a little heart and can make it throw a season without getting hurt or maybe one of the other backs such as Barber will take over and if the "D" doesn't change there game plan in the last 5 min. of a game to had over wins and to give me and all Cowboys fans near heart attacks week in and week out but as far as TO getting doubled every play that's nothing new and who's to say that Dallas won't resign K. Johnson now that they don't have to pay him that Million dollar bonus.

Hey chuck'n'duck it's me sonicdog, I agree with a lot of your points like your comment about Landry, (I'm still pissed about that one) and I've been a Cowboys fan since the day I was born in 1960 the same year the Cowboys came into the league. All I know is that this is a different NFL then when I was a kid and your right about free agency, salary cap and not being able to form relationships and develop players like the good old days, (damn I miss them days) but it's like that no matter what team you like and I'm just glad that I Like the greatest team in the history of team sports and that's THE DALLAS COWBOYS. And my comment about the Niners is true they are the biggest fair weather fans in the NFL and I'm proud to be a long time Cowboys fan with you. GO COWBOYS

Hey, "chuck'n'duck" here's a team for you the 49er's, there a bunch of band wagon jumpers just like you and I should know I live in NorCal and let me tell you I NEVER hardly ever see Niner Gear around here but I have seen a lot of New England and now Steeler gear so do me a favor and jump on that band wagon.

As a huge Cowboys fan, Dallas has bigger needs then at wideout, as "Grrrlacher" failed attempt at humor tried to state, he did make some great points like the need for a couple of new "O" lineman and some one to coach them up are huge needs and a kicker that doesn't suck would be great as well. PS. if Parcells can handle the likes of LT he will have no trouble with Owens because if TO screws up this time he will be playing in Canada.

The USA team needs to pull there heads out of there ass, it seems to me that we have all these professional leagues with the highest payed players in the world and we tell the world that we're the best with our NBA WORLD CHAMPS and our MLB WORLD CHAMPS but when it comes time to prove it we are coming up short lately but there's always the excuses like we didn't send are best or it's spring training or what ever but you know what they say about excuses. My hats are off to the players who commented there time and energy to represent our great country so good luck to team USA but please pull your heads out of yours ass, PLEASE...............

The reason we're not winning is because we don't play as a team, it's all about self promotion and not sound team play.

Can anyone tell me why you would leave Willis in so long? he was clearly off. I think that the whole game was poorly managed and by blowing that game there's a good chance that team USA won't get out of the first round, keep your eye on Mexico bagging if there up by a run or two in the ninth.

Why don't we play team ball anymore? Canada beat us at our own game by manufacturing runs and not trying to hit every ball out, that and cluch pitching. I think I throw my back out watching "Lee" and others swinging for the fence every at bat.

Why is it that every time we crown the NBA or MLB winners we call them "World Champs", when the rest of the world doesn't look at it like that? What a joke, if we are the best at these sports in the world when are we going to prove it? How about when it REALLY counts like in a "TRUE WORLD TOURNAMENT" of some kind.

byrdman822, let me guess you're from the bay area right? because I live here in NorCal and that's like the text book answer always given from Giants fans around here. Give me a break, everyone knows Bonds and a lot of others in baseball have done this but that doesn't make it right and for the good of the game if they have to throw some or all the records out then so be it or what they should really do is do what they would do to me or you if we commented a felony and that's throw there ass in prison and then I promise you that that would clean up this mess faster than anything.

Baseball is tainted forever because of this. The one sport we had with some real history will never be the same and for what? the all mighty dollar thats what. So when Barry passes the Babe won't you just wonder a little bit how many the Babe would have hit if he was on the "juice" instead of the bottle?

Rudy who? This kid is what sports is all about. If only the so called pros had a 10th of what this kid has the sporting world would be a much better place.

Stewart's an ASS end of story and if you listened to his post race comments it was vintage Stewart saying that it was every bodies fault but his, I guess according to Stewart the whole world was seeing things.

It's the end of MNF as we know it with Theismann in the both I know I'm only going to watch if my team is playing.

jmd82, it was at best a no call in the biggest game of the year, a play that wouldn't be called in 90+ % of reg. season games and should not be called in this one. Lets get back to winning the games by the players on the field.

I think the post by "CHUY" proves my point about winning with "Class" and if I remember right Stevens scored the only TD for Seattle that wasn't called back on a very questionable call by the refs.
posted by sonicdog at 11:10 PM on February 05, 2006
At least win with some class, it's 8:30 pst and I have yet to hear "1" Steelers player say anything about what a good game the Seahawks played, all you Steelers fan should thank the refs and the NFL for this win. I'm happy that Bettis got his Superbowl win but not like that. PS. Did Porter ever play because after hearing his fat mouth run all weak I would have thought he was the greatest player ever.
posted by sonicdog at 10:47 PM on February 05, 2006
This is what the playoffs are all about, every so called expert was talking about the Seahawks playing in a soft division and that they couldn't beat the Panthers but after today they proved that they deserve to be in the Superbowl as does the Pittsburgh.

I don't understand how someone (in the public eye) that performes there job so poorly and by the way making more money than God could ever get mad at anyone bringing up the facts. If you or me preformed our jobs that poorly we'd be flippin burgers for a living........... Signed the "CBA"
