Am I the only one still fascinated by Tyson?

We should all just let Tyson go. Yes, he did have a horrible childhood and everything he does is put under a microscope. That still doesn't excuse the things he does. Weedy is right, he does seem a beaten man. While I do empathize with him, I do NOT feel sorry for him.

Would you rather run laps or ... ?

or my Browns, for that matter) I was at the last game. The line would extend from the browns locker room to the R&R Hall of Fame entrance. Way too many things wrong. ugly, ugly, ugly game.

The Astros Win the Pennant

Not only have the Indians not won a World Series, no Cleveland team has won a major sports championship since 1964. That's why I get so tired of hearing about the Cubs & White Sox (Chi had the Bears & Bulls), and the Red Sox before last year (Patriots & Celtics). I was born in '69, so I haven't had a chance to celebrate anything yet. (God, please let the Cavs do something).

Hal Lebovitz passes away

I know it may not mean much to everyone else, but he will be sorely missed in Cleveland.

Home Runs and Steroids: This guy's no Amateur

too..many...numbers. should have heeded warning. I think the series NUMB3RS should find a way too take this on.

Former NFL Star Received Steroids from BALCO

The only thing he will get is another couple of minutes of fame and a spot on VH1's Surreal Life. Poor guy, I hate the way athletes are mistreated. It's not his fault he had to take illegal drugs.

Go directly to jail. Do not pass Go, do not receive an Olympic medal.

Maybe they could come to an agreement to only prosecute those athletes that IOC tests positive. That way there wouldn't be a witch hunt to stack the odds against one certain athlete or one country's athletes.

Playoffs don't need Berman's embellishments

I saw berman on SC today, and it's the same as it always is, it's about the "swam". His ego is bigger than he is and he seems to think it's bigger than whatever play he's talking about at the time. I like SC, but it seems to be full of guys like that.

Taking one for the team?

Why sugarcoat it? Let's call it "Assrape U".

Taking one for the team?

I like the way the team is wearing the suspended players number to honor him. He is obviously the victim here.

The Onion gets all sweaty

Will somebody please shoot him and put him out of my misery? Not that it matters, after saying crap like that every DB in the league's gonna be gunnin' for him even more than they are now. He's gonna get injured eventually (with any luck).

Boxer Dies From Injuries Sustained in Bout

Boxing is inherently violent. Maybe stopping fights earlier should be done. But, boxing is also a buisness and people want to see blood and beatings. Boxers know this going in. Lighter gloves? Not the answer. A lot more damage will be inflicted and a boxers hands will still be well protected. The only possible advantage I could see would be boxers getting knocked out earlier and not taking a sustained beating.
