All good things must come to an end. That will make the French that more appealing to watch....

Makes you wonder... I doubt it was intentional, but placing better in races does help his "Free Agency" status. The better the finish, the bigger the payday right? Too severe a penalty though.

Good info to have during playoffs. Too bad the Suns with there #1 offense is missing there leading scorer now..... A huge blow dealt out by the NBA.

The worst part of it is that he was right. He may have been better off just sticking to what he said and not being ashamed of it. But that's politics. Peytons on the way up, but I'm not sure it's a suitable time to place him above Favre. The man won a Super Bowl, as did Peyton, and is about to break something like 4 records this season. He won 3 strait MVP's in the 90's. Peyton definitely has the ability, but I disagree putting him above Favre.

What about the Seattle Seahawks Jerry Rice? I couldn't believe it....

Why, why, why....Is marijuana that much of a necessity to throw away a promising future in the NFL, what a disappointment. Thats got to be the end of him in the NFL.

He was trying to be responsible and was to screwed up to pick a sober person...At least he tried, and at least he didn't drive himself.

Good post, bad job by the NFL of covering the men who sacrificed themselves to further the sport. Picket away....

It doesn't matter what country we are playing in. It doesn't matter if they allow a team to expand into Canada. If you love the sport of football, you will watch. If it really did bother ya, you would watch it, and get over it. So its not the US, it's sports, and if your a true fan, it wont matter. By the way,Im not Canadian, Im a Fan.

Not something you want to be dealing with going into next season.....

Hell of a good move. I think he can pull it off. Why not start his own team, he has enough expirience to do it...right? Theres other current drivers starting teams, and he has the work done for him. All the sponsorship and money he needs. Doesn't he own over half of DEI already? So he's set. This is probably the make it or break it point for Dale Jr. If hes gonna live up to his Dad's name, he better do it now.

At least he signed it, "your favorite center fielder"..... pretty respectable. Then again it's Vernon Wells, who is Vernon Wells anyways??

Its a good cause, but would you really wanna do that, and then sit through a 9 inning baseball game, maybe a little discomforting

I am upset with the scheduling of playoff games, and the braketing. Why the hell are the suns playin the spurs in the semis? That should be western confrence championship! Now it will be something like Suns- Warriors or Spurs -Jazz, is that worth watching?

An overheard idea to have an international line, that is the same for every court, no matter which level, might work. It would set a standard, less adjustment during olympic play also!

My question is, why isnt he ready to go now? He needs a month to get ready?? I just dont honestly believe that he had no idea if he was coming back or not. He was playing the money game with 3 teams, knew he would be coming back and still needs a month to get ready? Im sure its great for minor league ball, but something has to be done about the Yankees, with out A-Rod, where would they be? Another loss tonite, although I would place the blame on a terrible call from a Head Umpire.

Is ESPN Killing the National Hockey League by Influencing Public Attitudes?
Wouldn't the NHL be better off with half coverage on ESPN, rather than full coverage on VS which has very limited viewership? I also think that the lockout and lack of interest in hockey led to it's demise on ESPN, and not ESPN causing the NHL's demise. As before stated, this is the chicken and the egg argument, but it's hard to bet against ESPN, who covers EVERYTHING from the putt-putt world championship to dominoes. Oh yea, ESPN does have a passionate commentator, who was deeply involved with the sport, his name is Barry Melrose, hail the mullet!
