NFL Firings: Pete Carroll, Kevin Stefanski, Raheem Morris: A 3-14 season with the Las Vegas Raiders has ended Pete Carroll's return to coaching one year after it began. The team is going forward with first year GM John Spytek and this year's first overall draft pick. Also the Cleveland Browns have fired Kevin Stefanski and Atlanta Falcons Raheem Morris.

NBA Considers New Anti-Tanking Measures: In the wake of the worst gambling scandal in league history, the NBA is looking at new rules to combat tanking that would also deter some shady bets. Among the ideas is to no longer let teams draft top 4 in consecutive years, lock lottery positions after March 1, and limit draft pick positions to top 4 or 14 and higher.
