Canadians among first women to join IIHF Hall of Fame: For the first time ever, women are being inducted into the International Ice Hockey Federation's Hall of Fame player's category. Canadians Geraldine Heaney and Angela James plus American Cammi Granato were among the six players selected for induction Thursday. NHL greats Mario Lemieux, Igor Larionov, French player Philippe Bozon and builder Art Berglund will also be inducted into the Hall of Fame during the men's world championships in Quebec City and Halifax in May.

I thought I'd mentioned this in the thread already (Did I just not hit post?), but this is great news. Heaney and Granato are hugely influential and true role models, and though I'm guessing Philippe Bozon is a much bigger presence in France than he was with the Blues, these are all good calls. (Mario and Igor weren't in already? Really?)
