Bison Dele, I hardly knew you.: It was reported earlier this week that Dele, born Brian Williams, is missing at sea.

Uh-oh, it looks like there may be foul play involved. The FBI and Phoenix police have issued arrest warrants for Dele's brother on forgery charges:
"The FBI's interest in Williams came after Phoenix police and a local coin dealer disclosed that he had tried to buy gold last week using his brother's name and identification cards. Phoenix police questioned and released Williams last Thursday, and he left for the Bay Area a few hours later, sources said."

That was a great article about Dele. When he was at the U of A he thought of as cool by my geeky group of high school friends because he would hang out at the same coffee shops that we would. He even asked some of my friends about one of the board games that they were playing (most likely Machiavelli, Diplomacy, or one of the other Avalon Hill games). He was cool like that. I always wished that he had kept with the NBA, but knowing that he was doing his own thing because he wanted to is something to respect. I just hope that this most recent devleopment is some new exploration off the beaten track, and not the end of his journey. Unfortunately, this does seem like a real long time for niether Bison or is girlfriend to call in.
