Say your whole pro career is, at a maximum, 12-14 years long. To then be the best in the world for 7 of those years is just phenomenal. I took my surfing daughter to see the Roxy Pro at Snapper Rocks earlier this year (it's just up the road and we try to go every year), where Layne Beachley, Chelsea Georgeson and the up and coming Stephanie Gilmour all stood out. Also, props to Kelly Slater, who has dominated the mens over the last decade in a similar fashion.
