Anything (aboveboard) to end this saga and solidify the finances so the new stadium can get cooked.

At least no-one will overthrow the Maktoums, like they did with Thailand's Thaksin Shinawatra, once he got interested in Liverpool... (Quickly checks recent news reports for any more Middle East unrest)

I'm sure the Liverpool board considered that when they decided to open their kimonos (or burkas, as it were...).

At least no-one will overthrow the Maktoums I wouldn't be too sure about that, though if it happens (most of) the family will surely get out to a safe haven and retain their bank accounts and holdings. Depending on how things go in Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Yemen in the next few years the small country ruling families in the area may lose out faster than Alonso can chip on in from the midfield line.
