Hockey in Israel: Survival and mental toughness are central elements of the Israeli character. The members of Israel's small, but fiercely dedicated and passionate hockey community have summoned their reserve in order to make sure the sport lives on and continues to grow in the Holy Land.

A great article in my opinion. It kind of exemplifies the Israeli spirit, much like Canada. Gritty, tough, won't back down. Cheers to the coaches, administrators, and players who put their heart into this. I'd like to see all international conflicts resolved on the ice. There's nowhere to hide, sneak attacks and diving aren't allowed. You just know the Israelis would compete to the last second of every game, every man.
