Top 50 TV Football Moments: It shouldn't even have been a contest, but the legendary hard man of Leeds and the small, podgy future bog roll magnate of Derby gave it all they had. Lee was unceremoniously bundled over by Hunter while shooting, before being unceremoniously punched after returning to his feet. Both are sent off, but before departing the pitch, Lee, who required four players to hold him back earlier, slips his man and starts wildly throwing punches and kicks in much the same way as Scrappy Doo used to at ghosts.

The Cantona moment is the best by far! I know it's not fashionable to like anything to do with Man U, but come on... how fucking cool was Eric Cantona? His already sky-high coolness factor just went through the roof when he decided to launch a flying kung-fu kick at a skinhead thug. And he's still got it... Also, I remember watching the Nayim half-way goal against Arsenal on TV and laughing my head off for about three days running. The sight of Seaman laying in his goalmouth, looking rather puzzled is a classic.

Who would have thought anyone could have lobbed seamen so accurately from so far away? [sorry]

Billy Bremner and Kevin Keegan go topless Handbags ahoy at Wembley in the 1974 Charity Shield, as firstly Johnny Giles right-hooks Keegan right in front of an inactive referee, and minutes later does it again before wisely running away to watch Keegan take revenge on the nearest man - Billy Bremner, who retaliates and joins Keegan on his way down the tunnel. The standard that all one on one fights are set by? (c.f. Hunter v Lee) I was at this game which took place in my first and only trip to England. 2 guys (Keegan and Bremner) who couldn't touch the crossbar if one stood on the others shoulders. To this day, Keegan's reaction is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Even though he's City through and through, the punch up with Big Norman means Frannie never has to buy his own pint in a Derby pub. Leeds v Derby matches are still tense to this day, although Brian Clough may also have had something to do with it.
