Reds show true color...: We seem to have so many negative things to discuss. Here is another positive story of athletes, people really, showing up and helping out in a time of need.
cl, yeah, I thought that too...but it is kinda somewhat new news on an old(er) story, which by now is rather buried.

Darn...I did look...but I didn't see it. Sorry for the double post. Being a father these types of stories really pull on the 'ol heart strings.

I hadn't noticed the update to the story when I first commented. It is nice to know they brought the boy back to the stadium after having some time to mourn the loss. The only thing that gave me pause to this story when I first read about it is that the boy was being made happy when he really should have been sad. It's a normal feeling that has purpose. But it was a tough situation for the crew and (once they became aware) the players, and I couldn't think of a better way for them to have handled it.
