The Saudi goalkeeper did something I thought I would never see -- he blamed God for losing. His quote: "We did our best but God didn't want to give us any goals." Normally, God gets all of the props (see also "Rams, St Louis") but none of the blame.

I felt so bad for those guys...they played fair, clean...they tried their hardest...it just wasn't their year.
