Same old formula keeps real stories in the shadows : An excellent article from everyone's favourite US-based English rabble rouser. As usual, amidst the exaggeration there are some pearls of wisdom from the boy Swells.

Suprised he didn't mention casting Adam Sandler in the Longest Yard. Note to Hollywood types: Tough guys being funny works. Funny Guys being tough doesn't. Coming up next, Jerry Seinfeld, Kevin Kline, Chris Rock, and Adam Sandler in "The Dirty Dozen". Rock: Man we ain't shavin' in cold water. Seinfeld: "Cold water, what are these people thinking? Who shaves in cold water??" Kline: "I can't stop my leg...." Sandler: "I'm so goofy, it's kinda cute... isn't it??"

I'm not sure if suggesting Columbine was the result of 'bully-coddling' has any more steam than the 'Marilyn Manson' platform, but it sure sounds better. Wells should write a book: "Steven Wells Hates America (subtitle: "but really thinks it means well and is trying hard.")
