How Did It Go In?: Examines the "Farting Spectator" Theory and other possible explanations for Tiger Woods' amazing shot at Augusta.

How come no one mentions what his approach did, and what it did to his round partner's ball, a few holes before 'the' shot? I know, because he was still comfortably leading, and therefore less drama....but his approach lands like a MOAB in the heart of the green, and sends the ball already at rest on the green racing to the fringe, and beyond. At the time, the annoucing team remarked how they 'had never seen anything' like that.

harmonic convergence is the answer, without question.

Obviously, Tiger made the appropriate sacrifice to Zorkon the Space God, and his opponent did not. The Great Zorkon does not like to be underappreciated, and so Mr. DeMarco was not shown the same favor and Mr. Woods. You think I'm kidding.

It's a new ball Nike have developed just for Tiger - just before dropping into the hole it pauses, not only for dramatic effect, but also to give the swoosh maximum airtime. Very clever. I bet Titleist are kicking themselves.
