Drunk Sharks fan's penis shot.: "He pulled the trigger, but it was jammed," said Nayagar. "It was too late because the policeman returned the fire and the bullet penetrated his penis and came out of his buttocks."

At first I thought it was referring to the San Jose Sharks, but I forgot -- they have no fans.

I think the important thing to remember is that this story proves you have to be addled on some kind of substance to get through a whole 80 minutes of rugby union, even if it is Super 12.

To wfrazerir, I'm sure you must have meant the SJ Sharks have no fans because of the lock out; which would mean currently no NHL team has fans. I know a few Sharks season ticket holders who can't wait for the lockout to end. I as a (apparently the only) Shark fan feel I've been locked out by the owners as well. Many Shark fans are more than team fans, they are fans of the sport; even if their favorite team happens to not be one of the (precious) original six. By the way, I too was originally attracted to the post thinking it was about the SJ Sharks.

Yeah, lay off the Sharks, eh. I was attracted to the post thinking it was about a guy getting shot in the dick - and somehow related to sports.... Maybe 'attracted' is the wrong word.

Yes, Virginia, there IS a Sharks fan - actually, two of them, but I have no bullet holes! Seriously, they darn near sold out the Sharktank a few years back on weeknights. And what was that cop shooting at, anyway?

Yeah, I'd always thought of San Jose as one of the States' better hockey markets.
