"He doesn't care about material stuff too much. He doesn't go home and hold his trophies and cherish them." : Bode Miller nearly loses his 2005 super G World Championship gold medal -- literally -- and, apparently, did lose the gold he won in the combined in St. Moritz in 2003.

They should appoint one of the assistant coaches or equipment managers to be his medal holder, just to make sure he at least gets them home.
