You plonker, Rodney!: Rodney Marsh has been sacked by Sky for making a tasteless joke on "You're on Sky Sports". How anybody could think a joke about the tsunami was acceptable, I have no idea. Personally, I've never forgiven him for his lipstick on a pig comment..

Personally I think the Marsh sacking is a bit of a knee-jerk overreaction to what is after all only a crap joke that takes the mick out of Becks more than it does tsunami victims. However, anything that gets a twat like off air is OK by me. That NY radio thing sounds out of order though.

I don't think the joke was that bad. In bad taste, yeah, but did anyone really get offended by it? It was a bit harsh to sack him for one misplaced comment. But squealy is right though. Marsh, in general, is a loud-mouth pillock who certainly won't be missed by me whilst watching Sky Sports on a saturday afternoon.
