ETA drops Real Madrid to 4th: Today's match at the Bernabeu between the Galacticos and Real Sociedad was halted three minutes before time due to an authentic-seeming bomb threat by Basque separatist group ETA with the score 1-1, which would leave the hosts 11 points behind recently named World Player of the Year Ronaldhino's Barcelona. The Spanish FA will decide Monday how to handle the situation. Will disgruntled fans or football widows start using this tactic to disrupt matches?

Props to Spanish fans for emptying the packed stadium in less than 10 minutes without panicing or stampeding; Madrid police reported no one injured enough to need a hospital visit.
