10 of the best: - David Davies has been a golf correspondent with the Guardian for 21 years, but is retiring. Here are his ten best players and his ten best moments. My favourite has to be from the Ryder Cup in West Palm Beach in 1983: Having struck the shot of shots from a bunker at the 18th to force a half with Fuzzy Zoeller, but then seen the match lost by a point, Severiano Ballesteros went into the dressing room to find the team in tears. "Why you cry?" he shouted. "This is a great victory. And next time, we fuck them!" And in '85, they did. [Is it OK to do swearing on the front page? Sorry if it's not. I started asterisking, but it just felt wrong. It's OK when it's Seve, si?]
Aye -- or Si.

Great link. I like the inclusion of Sorenstam as one of the ten best ever.

Severiano always gets a pass. I make a motion. All in favor?
