Racism in football management: "Every member of the FA board and the 92-strong FA council is white, but this is the typical picture in the footballing world." Is it time for the English to start programs such as we have in the States or is the claim overblown despite the evidence?

Another empty report... Why do reports like these always state statistical data such as how many? But no one reports on the why? Other than, white guys are all racists keeping the black man down... I mean, just LOOK at this! The main findings include: Ethnic minorities are severely under-represented in the non-playing side of football: board membership, coaching, training and other aspects of the administration and management – as well as on the terraces. There are hardly any Asian or Chinese players at any level or in any age group. The solution?! Put more minorities in top positions...beautiful. THAT will fix it. Cause obviously the only reason there aren't any minorities in upper management is because there is a concerted effort on the evil white slavemaster to keep the status quo...

I'm not quite getting your point SF. Because there are very few "Asian and Chinese players at any level" there are few blacks in the management and administrative positions? I don't follow.

If you read the article you should get it...

I did read the article, still don't get what the point you were trying to make was. It seems you are saying lack of Asian players = lack of non-white players = lack of non-white front office types. That is what I don't follow.

Oh boy... I am not saying there is a causality between black and asian players at all... Where did i say there is a connection between the two?!

responding to the article that was posted by billsaysthis on the rascism on football management i have this to say. I agree with the points made just as there are other issues going on around the footballing world. so far there has only been one professional footballer to openly admit his homosexuality. the fact that we live in a world that we consider "equal" has depressed me with the fact that football, being the most popular sport in the world, still has not been able to clamp down on equalising the people within.

welcome aboard real madrid fan. too be honest, i'm surprised we aren't seeing some non-caucasian coaches already in mls or top college squads.
