Sold!: It looks like the Brewers have found a buyer in 47-year-old Mark Attanasio, a west coast investment banker. Pending approval by the owners, the Selig era in Milwaukee is over.

Last night on a local sports talk show, the host invited callers to tell him the single demand they would like to make of the new owner. Everyone who got on the air either bitched about the Packers' loss on Sunday or got all chest-thumping about the Badgers going 11-0. Heh. There's Wisconsin for you.

Now to end the Selig era in MLB and we are set.

Selig gave us the wild-card race and split each league into three divisions. As a result, the end of the regular season is always interesting, and there are more contenders in the playoffs, but not too many. For that I have to give him credit. Also, he has still not let Pete Rose back in to the MLB due to his gambling, which at least makes him consistent.
