Flyers cut the Barber.: Bill Barber is gone and the players want to get their parting shots in. That would be 5 coaches fired in 6 years under Clarkie. He must have dirty pictures of team owner, Mr. Ed Sninder. When will the blame be placed on the players or the GM, because the owner can't be wrong because he pays the bills? The system, the smishtem!!!
not take away from what the sens accomplished, but no team, especially that undersized of a team, can shut down an opponent for 5 games. the flyers lacked strategy and adjustment against the sens. they also lacked practice. it blows my mind that this team didnt practice their powerplay, according to their captain. barber might've been alittle too oldschool in his methods of dealing with such high priced talent. screaming on the bench never worked with me, and i imagine if you are an accomplished nhl player, its probably less effective.

I think everyone's to blame on that team. Barber is just who was chosen. The players definitely are the ones who should be blamed the most...if you're completely useless for five straight games, coaching can only take you so far. Of course, nobody gives the Sens their due for shutting the Flyers down completely all series long, but that's just big-market hockey
