My girl. : Talkin' bout my girl. I haven't wanted to jinx her, but I've been following her progress as closely as possible, finally catching her match vs. Ai Sugiyama. The girl is not only cute, but she has tons of game, speaks like winning is the most important thing to her(not endorsement deals from Revlon), has a great tale of rags to riches, and she's only 17.
....and please nobody mention the pending 'stalker' litigation...I can't talk about it anyway.

Grass slam? Typo or is that something else that I just haven't heard of?

It's one of four grand slams, and the only one played on grass.

I'll take her over anna k anyday. Even my wife thinks she's hot. Not that she has a prayer in the finals...

Not that she has a prayer in the finals... She does if Serena falls on her sword or her racket or whatever, but that's not a-gonna happen. I think Serena was correct in her analysis of her semi against Mauresmo: no brilliant game (actually, she said "no game"), but all heart. Serena is fed up with losing and healthy enough that she doesn't have to, to someone as inexperienced as Sharpova.

Congrats, and good luck in the finals against Serena, who trying to become the third player in 35 years to win three consecutive titles at the Grass Slam.
