"It's taken the men : over 100 years to become fund-raising in two sports...If you're talking about profit-making, there are only a handful of programs in the country that are profit-making. The vast majority of football and men's basketball programs spend more than they bring in, and that's after 100 years of promotion and 100 years with no competition.
