Toll Gate High Wins Rhode Island High School Hockey Title:
Plenty had tried, but Toll Gate finally overcame Mount St. Charles Academy, a school that's produced a number of NHL players, including the first US-born #1 overall pick during their 27 year title run. (ProJo onerous registration required)

Ok, 26. Sue me for trying to make it interesting.

Wow, that is one fecking long streak! Though probably not quite as impressive as the still-going De La Salle high school football team.

Not too bad. 'Course my high school won like 40+ straight county boys swimming titles...

Petey, how many of those years were you on the team, 15 or 20? ;-)))

Petey, how many of those years were you on the team, 15 or 20? ;-))) LOL. I wish!! I think in that culture, you pretty much have to be in it from when you're like 6-7 years old. Everyone that I knew on the team was in it for at least that long. I moved to that area when I was already 12 years old, so I missed out on a lot of the soccer/swimming/football/baseball thing. Lacrosse was my thing though since that was getting big when I was in high school.

My attempt at humor was more along the lines of you being in high school for 15 or 20 years, not actually being on the squad.
