I agree with scottymac, this was no apology from Yates only barely an explanation. Just goes to show that these hopped up steroid-rages are not limited to the ice. Oops, no one said anyone in hockey or bike racing was on steroids, yet.

Am I the only one who thinks this crash was Yates' fault? I looked to me like Fania held his bike wide deep into the corner to allow the faster riders to pass inside. How is he supposed to know that Yates is coming around the outside? Either way, this is not an apology: I'm just so sorry that the whole incident ever happened. And I'm sorry if my actions offended or disappointed anyone.

Having checked all the links, I think Yates' explanation insufficient. I saw no apology whatever, and I believe the punishment should have been stiffer.
