Hah! Good use of flash. I, of course, would always choose the woman over soccer. Baseball, though, is another story.

Reminds of that British poll I heard about that revealed that more men prefer watching futbol to having sex. Of course, having seen a lot of the British women.... (Just taking the piss, gents)

It's idiosyncratic all right - don't know that I've ever seen it used and suffixed with the word "gents" before though.

It's a beautiful phrase, there is no context in which it cannot be used. It can be be the most threatening thing you will ever here, it can lighten the tension in many situations, it can express incredulity, and it allows you to get away with bloody murder, most of the time. Good bit of flash too.
