Does Christina know about this?: The Utah Jazz have settled Glen Rice's contract and waived him. This move puts the Jazz at the cap minimum, and allows Glen to pursue free agency. Anyone in need of a 36 yr. old SF with bad knees?

dude's lost his mind.....he used to be a *good* player with the heat....but then he jumped the shark and won that all-star game mvp and thought he was the best thing since wonder bread.....tunrs out the dude was more like the rich man's dennis scott....there are not too many uses for quasi power forward types who hang out at the three point line and can't run the floor or rebound.

How do you know Dennis Scott wasn't the rich man's Glen Rice?
He certainly ate like one.

Glen Rice was a super player when he was in his prime. I have always thought that it was sad that his knees went bad and never was able to showcase his talents to a wider audience. It seems like people remember how he played on the Lakers not what he did with the Heat. And that is a real shame because Rice was much more than a one dimensional player when he was on the Heat. He could drive the hoop, board, play a little defense, and was absolute murder as a scorer. In his prime he was dropping 22-25 a night, shooting a .470 fg%. Sure I was a little turned off by his prima donna attitude when he got to LA but at one time he really was special.

I think Deke has rained on Glen's parade.

Once Glen was traded to Utah I thought it would be a classic case of "Former All-Star puts up good numbers on bad team". You know Glen rides into town and mentors the younger players in the ways of playing big time pro ball. Instead he's playing the market. I'm not sure how this will play out. Can anyone think of a team that would need or want him?
