Your Quarter-Finalists:
France vs. Russia
Lithuania vs. Serbia
Spain vs. Israel
Greece vs. Italy
My Picks you ask? Why certainly!:
Russia over France; Kirilenko has made me a believer. Though, I think Parker, Diaw, and Abdul-Wahad could cause trouble in the Russian backcourt.
Serbia over Lithuania. This should be quite a match. Stojakovic is the centerpiece of this game. If he plays up to par, its over. However, don't discount Lithuania's ability to shut down a team with a go-to guy.
Spain over Israel. Tapiro & Burstein get Israel this far. Three words stop them in their tracks. Too much Pau.
Greece over Italy. This should be a shootout. So it makes sense that the game should come down to whether or not Greece can capitalize on its size in the post.
