Liverpool part ways with Brendan Rogers: In a move that was either four months too late or six months early, another lackluster 1-1 result was the end of a 3+ season tenure for Rogers. Jurgen Klopp, rested after a four month break, is rumored to be first choice to take over after receiving a positive report on LFC from the team's German former midfielder Didi Hamann.

I think Fenway Group just wanted to fire him on the same day as Don Orsillo to localize the pain.
Sure Everton don't win anything, but once every couple of years they topple a manager at a big-name club.

It's more likely it was due to the international break than getting a draw at Goodison. As another long time Red, I agree with Bill ... four months (at least) late. We've done almost nothing with the Suarez and Sterling money.

It pains me to see one of my favorite coaches and Pokemon characters land on the wrong side of the Mersey so I am hoping for future Liverpool Echo headlines like "KLOPP FLOP AT KOP!"

As well-known here I'm a long time Red and I come down on the four months late side of that question. What, I'd like to know, was the point of giving Brendan $100M+ to spend and only 11 games to make the team work? Especially when Benteke, Sturridge, Henderson and Firmino have all missed games from injury meaning Rogers really never got to put out a first choice starting XI, much less give that group time to jell.
