The all-time World Cup finals league table: Not surprise that Brazil top this table or that Germany is a close second, but a bit surprising for me the gap after that, both in points and goal difference. Spolier alert: USA are in 25th heading into next summer ;)

England are comfortable in sixth, despite winning a game less than 7th placed France.
So we're a Europa League quality side. Seems about right.
Mexico are 15th despite conceding 37 more goals than they've scored, which is the worst goal difference in the whole thing.
Portugal (16th) and Ukraine (44th) are actually =4th, tied with Argentina, if you go by points per game.
