Arsenal's Accounts: A forensic analysis of a football club. Where the money comes from, and where it goes. Except, apparently, on new players.
Yep. Every year he wins the Wenger Cup.
/That's third or fourth place and a Champions League spot.

As an Arsenal fan, I actually blame Wenger, not the "big wigs". It was made abundantly clear that there was money to spend this summer. And Arsene has not. Now, they barely have a squad in advance of the champion's league qualifiers after injuries on Saturday.
His head should be on the block.

Look on the bright side, @flannelenigma, even if you lose the qualifying tie you probably get to the group stage anyway as CAS throws out the appeal.

Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger's head is constantly on the chopping block. If the bigwigs aren't willing to spend, there isn't a hell of a lot he can do other than work with what talent he gets. It's probably been a big accomplishment that Arsenal has been a consistent Champions League qualifier.
