Krzyzewskiville devastated by storms. Population completely wiped out. New Jersey residents in tears. (Stick around for the next video to watch some cigarette smoking dude standing atop a tall tower while the wind tries to blow him off.)

The countdown to Chris Culliver

Real disappointing both the media play that story is getting and Culliver not being wise enough to respond appropriately. A young talented guy who may have screwed his career by agreeing to talk with a comedian.

This is why the media circus around the Superbowl sucks so much - being good at football does not make you enlightened in any way on any issues and asking people who may never have had a microphone shoved in front of them before these kinds of questions is weak, entertainment-hungry fodder.

Kid's 24, lost most (and nearly all) his family at the age of 8 and grew up with a mother only 16 years older than him. He nearly died at 20. He carries the kind of prejudices that many do and he's probably not had a ton of life experiences to broaden his horizons.

Want to explore gay culture in the NFL? Great. Do honest journalism on the subject. This is just baiting people looking for someone not media trained enough to take it. It's amateur hour.

At age 24 you should be smart enough to keep your mouth shut on controversial issues when in front of a microphone, at a keyboard on Twitter etc...
