Look dude, you can do this.: Teenager Sloane Stephens takes down her idol Serena Williams in the Australian Open. Stephens also happens to be the daughter of former New England Patriot, John Stephens.

Saw this this morning and was saddened to discover* John Stephens had died in a car crash in 2009. Stephens was a terrific object lesson to me as a thirteen year old: here was a guy who was built in such a fashion if you heard he'd been hit by a train you'd rush to the scene to see if there was anything usable left of the train, yet he had one good season in the NFL.

I'm not entirely sure what the lesson was. It probably should have been something about how we're not indestructible but it came out more like "You're wasting your time in the gym".

*Re-discover, I think, but such is the aging process. /threadjack
