The display of sportsmanship by the peloton was excellent - waiting for Evans to catch up and then, better yet, realising they needed to catch the guy who had made a solo breakaway, eating him back into the peloton and then sitting up again to let Evans back.
Sanchez's break at the front was perfectly timed and as soon as he went I thought it'd be tough to get him back, as three of the four chasers were probably looking at the fourth - Peter Sagan - and saying to themselves, "if we leave him, he wins... if we chase him, you win. Why bother."
An interesting view of the tour today, even if the imbecile's need to be crushed between Jan Ulrich's thighs.

Today's stage of the Tour de France was marred by some idiot tossing carpet tacks onto the road just before the final summit, causing a handful of riders to puncture and one to crash and abandon the race.
