Thanks for that owlie. What does this mean: "when he wandered across the mark of Hawk Gary Buckenara"?

A simple mistake if you don't know the rules. When a player takes a "mark" or catch, he gets allowed time to take a kick, either as a pass to another teammate or a shot for goal. During this time, no-one is allowed to approach him, or encroach over an imaginary line where the mark was taken.
I seem to remember Jim Stynes was following another player and inadvertently walked between Buckenara and the spot where the mark was taken. This resulted in a 50 metre penalty, which meant Buckenara was then shooting from right in front of the goal, and couldn't miss.
/I hate Gary Buckenara for another reason. He kicked a goal after the siren against the Swans and put us out of the finals in 1996. Jammiest player in history.
