Omar Gonzalez tears knee ligament: In his first training session of a two month loan stint with FC Nurnberg, club and USMNT teammate Timmy Chandler dove in for a reckless challenge and tore Gonzalez's ACL. Omar, who anchored the LA Galaxy defense this season as they won the MLS Cup and left the January national team camp to go on loan in Germany, faces 6-9 months out.
