So Mister Lesnar has announced his retirement from MMA. I see idiots everywhere saying he had "no business being in the octagon".
Which leads me to this... How does someone with "no business" being in there become champion, and more importantly if he had no business being in there, what does that say about Frank Mir, whom he destroyed in their second match? I could watch a loop of the final few seconds of that fight for the rest of my life and never become bored. Watching Mir get pummeled never gets old.

Drood, a lot of my friends thought that he hadn't earned his title shot and was kind of cheating by not having much of a catalog for his opponents to study him with (one joke at the time was that his opponents should have a top turnbuckle installed in the octagon and just let Lesnar break his own neck for them), where everyone else had dozens of fights for Lesnar (more accurately, his trainers) to analyze and assemble a game plan. In essence, he was given beginner's luck on a silver platter.
I don't agree with it, but it's at least a slightly compelling argument.
