Only the second scores level drawn match in Test history.

All four possible results were in play at the time the final ball was bowled.

And there I was thinking that it would fizzle out. More fool me.

What a year of Test cricket it's been, even though the scheduling has been rotten, and the spotlight was on the one-day game.

That inaugural Pac-12 championship game? Hm. It's never ideal when one of the participants may need to seek a bowl eligibility waiver at the end of the night.

If I were running the Pac-12, I'd see if there was some way to make USC play Oregon, stipulating that no matter what the result, the Ducks get the trophy and (of course) the Rose Bowl spot. Either the Ducks avenge their defeat earlier in the year... or the Trojans get to have a game taken away from them in front of their fans. Entertainment and NCAA sanction all in one.
