Gus Johnson may have called his final NCAA tournament game: In short, the NCAA tournament experience for college basketball fans watching on TV is taking a significant hit.
And it's a complete shame.

That's a travesty. Honestly, though, he'll catch on somewhere, and whatever sport it is will be the better for it. I do think there was a natural affinity between Gus's incredible energy levels and the high-stakes, one-and-done nature of the NCAAs, but it's not like other sports don't have their own drama. He'd be great at calling an overtime hockey playoff game, for example.
