American Buys Gunners: Stan Kroenke, owner of the Rams, Nuggets, Avalanche and Rapids is set to raise his stake in Arsenal Football Club to 62% - a move that would require him to make an offer for all remaining shares.

Better than Alisher Usmanov, me thinks.

Perhaps, but wouldn't you rather be a place for money laundering than a business for someone trying to make a profit? Think of those transfer windows...

Maybe Stan can get Arsene to spend more of that money the latter claims to have. Although I think AFC didn't have that much to spend after building Emirates and that Wenger was just chatting up the shareholders. Who knows what will happen now, but this supporter is happier with Kroenke than if Usmanov had bought.

60,000 people for every home game with the club's only significant debt being in the stadium itself is going to put the club in a fantastic position and the next manager, (who you have to imagine will not adhere so rigidly to Arsene's youth-first aquisition policy), could find themselves in an incredibly healthy situation.

Maybe they can buy Connor Wickham off us for 15,000,000. They've forgiven us for Chris Kiwomya now, right?
